London Gym Favourites

After being evacuated from my local gym a couple of hours ago, I thought I’d collate a list of my favourite luxury gyms. Because writing about gyms is a perfect substitute for doing the workouts themselves right?

Here’s a selection of some of my favourite luxury gyms in the capital. Get your sweat on. And then enjoy a relaxing spa session. Or sleeping pod (see ESPA)!

As always, let me know your favourites & I’ll add them to the list! Sweat. Spa. Sleep. Repeat!

Lots of love, Jo xoxo

THIRD SPACE

Europe’s largest gym boasts 7,250 sq ft of fitness and is situated in my former stomping ground, Canary Wharf. Third Space Canary Wharf is the creme de la creme of luxury gyms. Take the elevator up from Waitrose and be greeted by an exquisite climbing wall as you enter. Post work out, grab a bite to eat from Third Space’s nutrition heaven, Natural Fitness Kitchen… their smoothies will be sure to satsify your protein cravings!

Third Space have several gyms across the capital, and rumour has it Becks is a regular.

EQUINOX

Situated in the heart of Kensington High Street, Equinox is the place to be seen. A glistening dome acts a bright canopy, flooding the bright space with light. Changing rooms are stocked with Kiehl’s products. Apparently Meghan Markle used to visit often, so if its good enough for royalty….

For further luxury, E by Equinox in St James’ is another hotspot It features marble pillars which complement leather armchairs, and even a complimentary laundry service. Their cooled eucalyptus towels are a gift from heaven, whilst the Crytotherapy chamber is an ice cool treat!

A spacious, luxury wellness haven, ESPA injects relaxing energy into your workouts.

Private training pods. Peloton bikes. Personal training. ESPA has it all.

Make sure to grab a delicious energy ball from the black Smeg fridge post-work out.

The health club boasts a steel pool, sauna, experience showers, ice fountain and heated loungers …. You truly will be mesmerised!

Fancy a nap? Their sleep pods house cushions and blankets… perfect for cosy me time!

Endorsed by Anthony Joshua, Marylebone’s BXR features high intensity workouts including versa climbing (the only one of its kind in Europe!), boxing (surprise surprise) and pilates! Try out BXR’s sister, “sweat by BXR” in Canary Wharf to let off some steam post work, if you’re working in the Wharf!

SOUTH KENSINGTON CLUB

Hidden in a beautiful Georgian townhouse, South Ken Club is a hidden oasis, drawing upon inspiration from Italy to create a cosy atmosphere.

Stained glass windows flood the room with a soft light, the wooden floors create a cabin-esque feel, whilst the bookshelves add to the homely space.

SKC features London’s only saltwater Watsu pool!
