I was today years old when I realised it’s “All the gear, no idea”, rather than “All gear, no steer”. I prefer the latter, as you can apply it to steering a bike, skiing etc…? Anyway, “All the gear, no idea” may be the saying, but there is nothing quite like putting on a good workout ‘fit. I know when I put on my trusted Lululemon outfit I feel the high quality material, love the pink colour and am instantly more motivated to work out. I also love taking outfit mirror pictures with my lovely leggings, …so, if I’ve already got the outfit on, naturally, I may as well do the workout! 😉
So, here’s a workout ‘fit Inspo board, featuring comfy, stretchy materials, and a bit of pink, of course!
TOPS + BRAS
Finding the right workout top is probably harder than leggings. I love my cropped, skintight, and with longer sleeves – there really is a gap in the market for this. I have worn my Lululemon long sleeved top to d-e-a-t-h.I love how there are little holes for your thumbs too – meaning you can go for a run and tuck your thumbs in, ensuring the sleeves stay down. I am praying that they start doing the top in pink shades to match my leggings … then my workout ‘fit would be perfect. They don’t have the exact one I purchased online, but I’ve linked a very similar one below.
I have heard great things about Tala’s tops. Grace’s brand creates high quality, sustainable pieces at sustainable prices so I really would recommend checking her workout wear out if you haven’t already! Many sustainable brands charge a “sustainable premium”, pricing many young adults out the market, but Tala is conscious not to have unnecessary excessive mark-ups.
LEGGINGS + SHORTS
Here’s a selection of some of my favourite leggings, including my trusted, and absolute favourite, Lululemons. I’ve heard great things about Alo Yoga (and I did have the Parisian pink shade on my Wishlist for ages), and will hopefully be purchasing a pair soon. Other great brands include Adanola and Grace Beverley’s sustainable Tala. I’ve heard H&M’s workout leggings are more affordable dupes of Lulus!
