PRADA CHALET COLLECTION
Reds, navys and whites mark the signature Prada Chalet collection. The iconic Re-Nylon cropped jackets with large bright patterns are a great Apres Ski piece to keep warm whilst still being fashionable. Re-Nylon is Prada’s regenerated nylon, created from purified plastic; ingraining sustainability into its pieces to ensure we are taking steps to tackle fashion’s sustainability problem. The elasticised cuffs will help to keep your arms warm, whilst the goose-down really will give you a big warm hug! It’s a warming staple winter piece!
THE BLACK FAUX FUR JACKET
I LOVE this faux fur black jacket- it is on my wish list! It combines fashion and form, prettiness and practicality, style and substance. The exterior is so elegant and will elevate your outfit. Wear your date night or Christmas outfit, and drape this gorgeous jacket over the top to complete your look. I would team my black skirt with shiny threads, with my long black Stuart Weitzman boots, and this Prada jacket – it seals the outfit perfectly.
Inside you’ll find a super useful belt bag – pop your essentials and you don’t have to worry about a bag! The sleeves with holes for your thumbs will keep your wrists warm too when you’re walking to your dinner. Style and substances epitomises this collection, and this jacket really should be near the top of your elegant and functional evening jacket list.
THE RED JUMPER
This. Jumper. Is. Perfect. Look at that fitting! Okay, where do I start…. I love the cropped nature of the sweater. Many many fashion houses these days opt for the longer styles, and it’s difficult to find a cropped style that stops at the right spot. Next, when you do find that cropped jumper, it’s usually a boxy fit and loose. But this gorgeous style cinches in at the waist and accentuates your figure – it’s a hard target to meet, and Prada has ticked the boxes. This is such a perfect find!
Now: the colour. The gorgeous red is very festive and a fashionable twist to the annual Christmas Jumper trend. Wear for your next Christmas Jumper Day to turn heads. This piece has a twin in navy – a great transitional autumn piece.
THE GREY WOOL & CASHMERE JACKET
I’ve been eyeing Prada’s cropped jackets for a while; they are a great piece to wear to your pilates class or when going to do your errands. The ribbed knit adds that fashionable touch to a traditionally sporty look, whilst the embroidered Prada logo adds a touch of sophistication. I love light greys as my neutral colour of choice so when I saw this jacket as soon as I came in, I *knew* I had to try it. However, they are so popular that they only had one size left … and it was too oversized. However, I still had to try it on- look how snug it looks!
