We’ve all seen rapid grocery delivery chains taking over London’s streets, but now there’s a new kid on the block, foodies’ fashion cousin, led by premium fashion app, Sannders. The app has a slightly different operating model, but, from the consumer point of view, the service is very similar: order your clothes, and have them delivered to your home within minutes.

In an age of instant gratification and “I want this now”, Sannders (website here) really is filling a gap in the market. The scenario: you saw an item in Zara on the weekend. You thought you would “sleep on it”. It’s Wednesday. You’ve slept on it. You want it. But, you’re at work, and don’t have time to go to Zara on your lunch break as you’re busy with other things. You really don’t want to wait til the weekend to go to Zara again. You don’t really even want to wait til tomorrow either with delivery. The solution: No fear! Sannders let’s you order your pieces and they will be delivered to you within 90 minutes! Yes, you heard right, 9.0. minutes! That’s shorter than a football game…
What’s more, is that the delivery charge is LESS than most retailers’ next day delivery charge! You’re getting a quicker service for less money – what’s not to love?
Bringing changing rooms to your own home
“Try first, pay later”: bringing bricks and mortar stores’ changing rooms to the comfort of your own home. Order your clothes, try them on in the comfort of your own home, and only pay for the pieces that you keep. There’s a 7 day try on period before you are charged.
You can schedule your return for minutes later, or a specific time later. And, you don’t need returns labels or special returns packaging – helping to reduce waste.
Personalised variety
Sannders’ app is full of your favourites- read Victoria’s Secret, Lululemon, Zara, Male, Sandro… Yes, before you ask, the app includes the famous Lulu aligns🍑! For the guys, there’s Boss, Allsaints, Ralph Lauren, Reiss…
Even better, they currently have an amazing service where you can simply email them your favourite pieces and they will add them to the app.
Too good to be true? What’s the catch?
At the moment, Sannders only operated within central London, but they have strong expansion plans for the rest of England and the EU. However, there’s nothing stopping you ordering your favourite clothes to your office and trying them on, before returning.
App Development
Sannders is a new kid on the block, launched in October 2022 by ex- AEA Investors PE associate Danyal. When I was first introduced to the concept in November 2022, the app was in the AB testing stage and the app is constantly under development and improvement, with new brands and features being added. However, with this strong value proposition, I’m sure it will scale and become ever more present on London’s streets.
