Gisou, Persian for “women’s hair”, is a brand with a rich history which spans generations. Today’s post shines the spotlight on this honey-centric brand. Make sure to pop into the golden London pop up from now until December 18th!
QUICK HISTORY
Negin’s father practiced beekeeping as a little boy, and when he settled in the Netherlands, he set up the Mirsalehi Bee Garden.
Most recently, in the 90s, Negin’s mother created the sweet-spot honey infused haircare oil formula to ensure supple and moisturised hair. In 2013, after many years in the making, the now iconic Honey infused hair oil was introduced to the world. Below I’ve shone the spotlight on some of the most bee-utiful Gisou products to nourish and moisturise your hair!
HAIR OIL
Enriched with Mirsalehi honey from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden, formulated to rebuild hair from the core. The honey helps to moisturise and soften the hair whilst giving it a silky shine! Find it here
HAIR MASK
This hair mask can be used on wet, damp or dry hair. Use in the shower to deeply condition- let the mask sink in for 5-7 minutes before rinsing off. By washing the hair, the hair cuticles are opened up, thus presenting the perfect opportunity for the hair mask to deeply deliver the concentrated nourishment of vitamins!
For full benefits, use the hair mask overnight. Wrap your hair in a towel to trap in heat and so the product can absorb deeper. Find it here
HONEY SCENTED CANDLE
Of course I *had* to include a candle in my little selection. The Mirsalehi honey scented candle is a 100% natural wax blend with a 100% cotton wick, infused with sweet honey notes and spring florals. The jar is THE CUTEST thing ever – resembling a golden honey comb, when your candle is done, it would be a welcome make-up brush pot!
LONDON POP UP
If you’re in London over December, make sure to pop by Gisou’s magical pop up in Piccadilly! It’s golden, twinkling, shining and sparkling … and in the shape of Gisou’s hair oil.
