repare to be blown away! Blow drys are my guilty pleasure\u2026 and girls with long hair will understand. There\u2019s nothing like a long week at work, and then sitting back, relaxing as you get a head massage, hair wash, and have your hair curled.\u00a0I’ve been going to Duck & Dry (here<\/a>) since 2018, so read on to see why I’ve been swept up up up and away (+ some ducking great puns. expect no less from me on the pun front \ud83d\ude09 )… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT MAKES D&D UNIQUE?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded by ex-Management Consultant<\/strong> Yulia Rorstrom <\/strong>in Chelsea in 2014<\/strong>, Duck&Dry\u2019s aim is to \u201cmake clients feel and look great\u201d with an \u201cextra bounce\u201d in their step after a blow-dry! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of D&D is their vision to create stylish salons, focused on blow-drys. This marks a step away from diversified, traditional hair salons which spread themselves across cutting, colouring, and less emphasis on styling.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Duck and Dry?<\/em><\/strong> Yulia explains it\u2019s a play on words for \u201cducking\u201d into the salon and \u201cdrying\u201d out, coming out the salon with a gorgeous new look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A LA CARTE HAIR <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

D&D<\/a> have a handy little menu showcasing the blow dries that they can create. If you\u2019re stuck for inspo, then this menu will make your choice much easier. Check out the looks here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look 01 <\/strong>(\u201cThe Classic Duck\u201d) creates smooth and bouncy hair for those wishing for an understated look. The chic, clean look- great for work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look 07<\/strong> (\u201cHot Off The Tong\u201d) is my favourite<\/em> go-to look. Defined waves crated with tongs or straighteners – it\u2019s the \u201cPrincess look\u201d! Perfect if you\u2019re having a dinner date or just want to have curls all week (*cough* me *cough*). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UP DO & BRAIDS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as blow-outs, D&D<\/a> have a gorgeous braid service. If you\u2019re going to a birthday party or event, these braids will add a magical touch to your outfit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look 03<\/strong> (\u201cThe Grecian Chic\u201d) is a lighter version of look 04: suitable for everyday work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look 04<\/strong> (\u201cThe Brazen Braid\u201d) is a true statement: a halo plait that will get heads turning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

STYLISH SALONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Floral wallpaper, exposed bricks and gold accents, D&D\u2019s<\/a> interior is a metaphor for their magic: from exposed bricks to a gorgeous floral wallpaper\u2026from everyday hair to gorgeous D&D blow-dried hair, with a touch of gold magic! Take a seat at one of their glossy white egg-shaped stations and be prepare to be pampered. The Prosecco bar is inviting – have a cheeky daytime drink for a truly pampering Saturday! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neon lettering exclaims, \u201ca ducking good blow<\/strong>\u201d, and it really is. Try it and be swept away! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
